Abhijit Jana works as a Consultant at Microsoft. As a Consultant his job is to help customers to design, develop and deploy enterprise level secure solution using Microsoft Technology. In his present role, he is Incubating HoloLens delivery capability and Building up capability for 3D Unity engineering, as well as working on different connected scenarios with HoloLens, Azure and Mobility. As Development Lead he has managed several complex projects and delivered solutions to enterprise customers across the globe. In his previous role he was responsible for adopting and delivering world class solution with N+1 technologies, where he mainly led the engagements on Universal Windows Platforms, Microsoft Azure, IoT, Cross Platform Mobile Apps and Devices Apps development.
Apart from being a former Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional), he is a Speaker, and author, as well as an avid Technology Evangelist. He has delivered sessions at prestigious Microsoft events like Tech Ready, TechED, Web Camps, Azure Camps, Future Unleashed, Community Tech Days, Virtual Tech Days and various developer conferences. He was also invited by Microsoft Research India to deliver seminars at different IIT’s (Indian Institute of Technology) on Kinect for Windows SDK. He has authored the book "Kinect for Windows SDK Programming Guide".
